Our Client & The Role
We're recruiting for a friendly, personal, and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Guildford. This firm invests heavily in the development of its team, offering exceptional opportunities for growth, progression, and leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual studying towards ACA/ACCA with some audit experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors
- Preparing audit files, supporting audit planning, and leading or assisting with fieldwork
- Completing audit sections or smaller audits from start to finish as you gain experience
- Preparing corporation tax computations alongside audit work
- Supervising, training, and assisting junior team members
- Managing your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Liaising with seniors, managers, and partners to ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget
- Building long-lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Collaborating closely with other teams across the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
- Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation alongside your audit work

Requirements
- ACA or ACCA student
- Previous audit experience (in the UK) - no minimum requirement, but 1 year+ is ideal
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
