Department: Audit

Location: Sheffield

Description

We have a new opportunity for a semi-senior or senior within the statutory accounts team. We can be flexible on base office but occasional travel across the offices may be needed.

In this position, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, have opportunities for professional development and training and work in a role that directly impacts the quality and efficiency of audit processes.

We're looking for someone detail-oriented, highly organised, and passionate about delivering accurate financial information. Join our team as a Statutory Accounts Team Member, where you’ll play a key role in supporting audit processes and ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the audit accounts inbox, ensuring emails are prioritised, deadlines are met, and tasks are allocated effectively.
  • Maintain the corporate workflow document to identify delivery issues or timeline changes early and communicate them promptly.
  • Manage workloads for assistants and ensure smooth operations during audit and account assignments.
  • Conduct first reviews of prepared accounts and amendments before submission to the audit team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts, including compiling workings and liaising with audit teams for clarity and precision.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on corporate work processes.
  • Attend regular meetings with audit managers across the offices and participate in meetings to foster strong communication and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
