Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an accountancy practice in Droitwich for a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The postholder will work with a unique portfolio of clients across the entertainment industry, from individuals to businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies, working papers and maintenance of accurate records.
- Reviewing client bookkeeping, VAT, self-assessment and corporate tax returns.
- Preparation of financial information, both monthly and annually, as well as directly liaising with clients and responding to their queries involving accounting, tax and regulatory compliance.
- Working with senior management to ensure deadlines are met, and supporting/assisting junior members of the team where necessary.

Candidate Criteria
- 3 years’ experience within accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and general taxation, including year-end accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
- Skilled with software and systems, including Xero and Microsoft Office.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines, as well as working within a team.
