Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
Reporting to: Engineering Manager
Start date: Immediate vacancy

About the Role
We are looking for a practical and motivated Assembly Technician to join our Machinery team. You will help build, wire, test, maintain and improve We Seal machinery, working across both electrical and mechanical assembly. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure our machines are built safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble We Seal machinery and components.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Build electrical panels and wire machines.
- Fit and test pneumatic and electrical components.
- Set up and test completed machines.
- Upgrade, refurbish and maintain existing machinery.
- Support the development and improvement of new and existing machines.
- Identify problems and help find practical solutions.
- Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records.
- Follow Health & Safety, quality and hygiene standards.
- Work with the wider team to improve processes and ways of working.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A positive, hands-on attitude.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and flexible approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Good communication and basic IT skills.
- A focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Electrical and/or mechanical training or experience.
- Experience building, maintaining or repairing machinery.
- Confidence using workshop tools and equipment.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and quality requirements within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
