Shifts: 3 on 3 off, 12 hour continental pattern

Wakefield Operations is the 2nd largest plant in CCEP and the biggest soft drink plant in Europe. It has the capacity to produce 1 billion litres of finished product per year. There are over 450 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering.

What to expect:
In the role of Semi-skilled Machine Operator, you will play a key role in our day-to-day operations receiving full training to become part of our team.
We’re a 24-hour operation so you can expect to work shifts based on a days and night’s pattern. We are open to discussing job share opportunities that work for the operation and you.
You will get to work with our experienced teams to ensure the soft drinks operation runs smoothly, including ordering materials and running of our filling, packing and palletising machines. We’re a highly automated and clean site but you’ll be fully trained in basic machine operating, fault finding and fixes. Tasks could include; raw material handling and loading using manual handling techniques and equipment.
You’ll get the training and autonomy to manage your work and environment to ensure hygiene is maintained to a high standard and ensure the quality of our products. You will do this through hands-on inspection and on-line measurement of our product and packaging, working alongside our Quality, Health, Environment and Sustainability teams.

What we need from you:
We’re looking for hands-on practical people who can multi-task, are open to learning, can work collaboratively and communicate well. You’ll have confidence in your ability to get things done quickly and efficiently and have a strong drive for results. You’ll be able to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow clear guidelines for operational excellence.
Full in-house training will be provided for technical upskilling.
