Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Operative
Location: Shaw and Crompton, England, North West
Job Type: Temporary

Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Semi-Skilled Metal Operative to join a large, well-established, manufacturing company based in Shaw, Oldham. This is a hands-on role within an engineering and manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on operating Press Brake machinery alongside other metalworking and fabrication duties. This is a temporary to permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday 8am to 1pm.

Role
- Operating Press Brake machinery
- Fettling materials
- Deburring
- Operating saw and drilling machines
- Assisting within the fabrication workshop
- General warehouse duties
- Moving and handling products and materials
- Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a clean working area
Requirements
- Previous Press Brake experience is essential
- Experience within aluminium manufacturing
- Experience operating saw and drilling machinery
- Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Practical and hands-on approach
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to reliably commute to Shaw, Oldham
