Our client is developing cutting-edge, next-generation compound semiconductors, and is a leader within the North East’s emerging semiconductor cluster. They are now searching for a Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield Engineer to be responsible for the development and integration of new process technologies and yield improvement initiatives across existing production-qualified manufacturing processes.

The role will involve acting as an interface with all disciplines within the Operations Department to ensure stable, robust, repeatable, sustainable, and high-yielding manufacturing processes are achieved, monitored, and maintained with the needs of the customer being paramount.

The primary function of the role is to work closely with environmental agencies and specialist consultants to ensure the plant and equipment are designed and operated in a manner that ensures the licenses to operate are fully adhered to and complied with.

Required Skills:

  • Experience of working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Yield and process integration knowledge.
  • Evidence of understanding development or production within a quality environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering/Physics or other relevant degree.
