Position
This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), term-time + 4 weeks (43 weeks per year).
About The School
Roehampton Gate School (RGS) is a school for young people aged 9 - 16 and offering a Post 16 Campus from 16-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. We aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment

Main Responsibilities
- Central Admission/Withdrawal Register: maintaining the spreadsheet with up-to-date LA and parental contact details on the day of receiving notification. Make this document readily available to all staff on the shared drive.
- Data Champion: ensuring MIS system is kept up to date at all times
- Pupil Records: sole responsibility of keeping clerical and computerised records of pupils up to date and to the agreed format for Roehampton Gate School and Post-16 Hub, as per the Pupil Records procedure
- Minutes: Education Meeting, Teachers’ Meeting, Annual Review, Placement Review, Emergency Review, EHC Conversion Review and any meetings at the discretion of the Principal and Head Teacher. Minutes to be finalised, stored and distributed within the agreed timeframe.
- Enquiries: respond to parental and LA enquiries received via telephone, email or in person on a daily basis. Share sensitive enquiries with the Deputy Head and Head Teacher.
- Assist Administrator in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the school; including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
- Recording all actions from meetings into the action tracker, sending the actions to relevant staff.
- Putting pupil off roll dates into relevant staff diaries and once pupil is off roll ask the Local Authorities for new setting details to post pupil files and safeguarding.
- Collate all paperwork for annual reviews from staff and parents to send to the LA.
- Maintain the pupil review tracker to keep track of all annual reviews over the academic year.
- Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
- General Admin: Supporting on reception when required, archiving, supporting Site Lead with administration tasks
- Admin support to DSL with attendance
