The Role:
- Competitive Compensation: UPS1–UPS3 + Fringe Allowance & Minimum SEN Allowance.
- Permanent, full-time teaching role starting ASAP.
- Play a pivotal leadership role through subject leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring staff within a specialized PMLD/SLD environment.
What you need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- At least 6 years of teaching experience within a similar Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) specialist setting.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capability, with experience in curriculum or subject leadership.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and local authorities.
- A deep commitment to delivering personalized learning and tailored support for learners with complex needs.
- Valid right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo standard pre-employment checks (including an Enhanced DBS).
