SEN Learning Mentor
Are you looking for a rewarding career in Education and have a passion for supporting learners to succeed? We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Mentor to join a specialist setting in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
Role Details:
- Location: Tewkesbury
- Salary: £95 - £110 per day paid weekly (DOE)
- Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Term Time only

Key Responsibilities of a Mentor:
- Supporting learners on a 1-1 basis with their learning and personal development needs.
- Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
- Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support progress.
- Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential.
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
- Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.

Key Qualities Academics is seeking:
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
- A genuine passion for helping children with SEN succeed.
- Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
- A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities.
- An enhanced DBS check (Or willingness to apply for one).
