SEN Maths Teacher - ASAP Start
Ealing Borough | £180-£250 per day DOE (umbrella) | Parking Available
A well-established specialist provision in the Ealing borough is seeking an experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a highly inclusive setting that prides itself on providing a safe, structured and nurturing environment for pupils with a range of complex needs. The Role
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching to pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Plan and adapt your own curriculum to ensure accessibility, ambition and engagement
- Create structured, scaffolded lessons that build confidence, independence and functional numeracy
- Work closely with SEN teams, therapists and support staff to ensure holistic provision
- Track progress, analyse learning needs and implement strategies that secure strong outcomes
- Contribute to a calm, safe and positive learning environment
- Model consistent behaviour management and relational practice
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Good to Outstanding teaching practice
- Strong SEN experience (ASD, SEMH, MLD, ADHD or complex needs)
- Confident adapting teaching for diverse learning profiles
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Excellent communication, organisation and resilience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and removing barriers to learning
