SEN Maths Teacher - ASAP Start
Ealing Borough | £180-£250 per day DOE (umbrella) | Parking Available
A highly inclusive and forward-thinking specialist setting in the Ealing borough is seeking an experienced SEN Maths Teacher for an immediate start. This is a school that places relationships, wellbeing and personalised learning at the heart of everything they do. Pupils are supported through a nurturing, structured environment where staff work collaboratively to remove barriers to learning and help every child achieve meaningful progress.
The Senior Leadership Team is exceptionally supportive, visible and committed to staff development. You will have the opportunity to write and shape your own Maths curriculum, ensuring it is ambitious, accessible and tailored to the diverse needs of pupils with SEND.

The Role
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching to pupils with a range of SEND profiles
- Plan, design and adapt your own curriculum to meet individual learning needs
- Create engaging, scaffolded lessons that build confidence, independence and functional numeracy
- Work closely with SEN teams, therapists and support staff to ensure holistic provision
- Track progress, analyse learning needs and implement strategies that secure strong outcomes
- Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Model calm, consistent behaviour management and relational practice
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Good to Outstanding teaching practice
- Strong SEN experience (ASD, SEMH, MLD, ADHD or complex needs)
- Confident adapting teaching for diverse learning profiles
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Excellent communication, organisation and resilience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and removing barriers to learning
