SEN PSHE Teacher – Croydon

Location: Croydon
Contract: Contract
Pay: £180–£260 per day PAYE

The opportunity

Senovo is recruiting a SEN PSHE Teacher for a specialist SEN education setting in Croydon. The successful candidate will join a committed team focused on helping children and young people access learning, develop confidence and make meaningful progress.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons matched to pupils’ individual needs.
  • Adapt teaching, resources and assessment to support EHCP outcomes and measurable progress.
  • Create a safe, structured classroom with consistent routines and high expectations.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold excellent safeguarding practice.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Relevant teaching experience, ideally within SEND or an inclusive setting.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
  • Useful experience includes differentiated planning, PSHE, relationships education, safeguarding, SEN teaching.
  • Clear communication, professional judgement and a child-centred approach.
