SEN School Librarian – Camden

Location: Camden
Contract: Temporary
Pay: £110–£145 per day PAYE

The opportunity

Senovo is recruiting a SEN School Librarian for a specialist SEN education setting in Camden. The successful candidate will join a committed team focused on helping children and young people access learning, develop confidence and make meaningful progress.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage accessible books, learning materials and library systems.
  • Help pupils build reading confidence, information skills and independence.
  • Create calm, inclusive routines that support a wide range of learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate lending and resource records.
  • Work with teaching staff to identify suitable and engaging materials.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant library, literacy, education or resource-management experience.
  • An understanding of accessibility and inclusive practice for pupils with SEND.
  • Strong organisation, communication and safeguarding awareness.

Useful experience includes literacy support, resource management, safeguarding, School library, SEN accessibility.

QTS is not required for this school-support role.
