SEN Teacher - Oldham (Multiple Roles Available)

Location: Oldham

Employer: The Education Specialists (TES)

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Long-term / Ongoing / Flexible within Trust

Salary: £160 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

The Education Specialists (TES) are proud to be working in partnership with a large and well-established SEN Multi-Academy Trust in Oldham. As a key staffing partner, all agency recruitment for the Trust will now be managed through TES, giving you exclusive access to a wide range of opportunities.

We are currently recruiting SEN Teachers to support both Primary and Secondary specialist provisions across the Trust.

About The Role

You will be teaching pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
  • PMLD / Complex Needs
  • Challenging behaviour

Support structures are strong across the Trust, with experienced TAs and leadership teams in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual needs
  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies
  • Track and support progress against EHCP targets
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs and wider staff teams
  • Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • SEN or alternative provision experience (preferred)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Adaptable, resilient, and proactive attitude
  • Passion for making a difference in SEND education
