Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to do exactly that. We’re looking for a passionate and creative SEN Teacher to join our specialist school and help young people overcome barriers, discover their strengths and achieve things they may never have thought possible.

This is a role where relationships matter just as much as results. You’ll get to know each pupil as an individual, understand how they learn best and create lessons that build confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.

Whether you’re an experienced SEN teacher or an excellent mainstream teacher ready for a new challenge, we’ll give you the support, training and professional development to thrive in specialist education.

No two days are the same but every day gives you the chance to make a lasting difference.

What you will be doing

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and highly personalised lessons that meet a wide range of learning needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, creating a classroom where they feel safe, understood and motivated to learn.
  • Adapt your teaching to remove barriers and help every young person experience success.
  • Set meaningful goals, track progress and celebrate the small wins and major milestones along the way.
  • Develop and review personalised learning plans, including IEPs and behaviour support strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and other professionals to provide joined-up support.
  • Promote positive behaviour through consistency, compassion and high expectations.
  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing and inclusive school culture where every pupil is encouraged to believe in themselves.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
