A fantastic, thriving SEN school in Sydenham is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teacher to lead a vibrant Key Stage 3 class starting this September.

The Role
- Design and deliver a creative, adapted curriculum tailored to students' individual learning and EHCP goals.
- Focus on functional life and work skills to prepare students for adulthood.
- Track progress through continuous assessment and work alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain positive behaviour management strategies while fostering a safe, encouraging classroom atmosphere. (This opening has arisen due to the current teacher relocating after a successful tenure.)

What We're Looking For
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs (ASC, SLD, PMLD).
- Strong understanding of SEN pedagogy, communication tools (e.g., PECS, Makaton), and positive behaviour support.
- A creative, resilient, and upbeat approach to teaching.
