Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a more flexible role? We are seeking a confident and adaptable Special Educational Needs Teacher to provide supply cover at a welcoming and supportive special school in Oldbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking to step back from the full-time class teacher role while continuing to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives.
You Will Be Required To
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons to pre-16 pupils with additional needs
- Provide consistent, calm and confident classroom leadership
- Support pupils with Complex behavioural needs, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), ADHD and Non-verbal communication needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP targets
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider SEN team

What You Will Be Doing
- Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Delivering small group or one to one catch up sessions
- Supporting pupils according to their individual needs
- Working with the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons
Essential Requirements
- Recent and relevant experience in an education setting
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident managing complex behaviour positively and effectively
- Suitable for ECT’s
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
