SEN Teacher – Upper Key Stage 2 – Full Time – Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a full-time teaching position in Hertfordshire?

Would you like to teach an Upper Key Stage 2 class in a specialist setting where the curriculum is carefully adapted around individual pupils’ needs?

We are recruiting a full-time SEN Teacher for an Upper Key Stage 2 class at our partner special school in East Hertfordshire. The school supports children and young people aged 2–19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), including pupils who may have multiple additional needs.

Approximately 194 pupils, creating a substantial specialist community with expertise across a wide age range

Can You Offer

  • QTS and appropriate classroom teaching experience
  • Experience of working within an SEN or specialist setting
  • An understanding of teaching pupils with severe and/or complex learning needs
  • The ability to adapt teaching and learning around individual pupils
  • A strong commitment to the Upper Key Stage 2 class
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and other professionals
