About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and creative SEN Teacher to join our specialist school and help young people overcome barriers, discover their strengths and achieve things they may never have thought possible.
This is a role where relationships matter just as much as results. You’ll get to know each pupil as an individual, understand how they learn best and create lessons that build confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
Whether you’re an experienced SEN teacher or an excellent mainstream teacher ready for a new challenge, we’ll give you the support, training and professional development to thrive in specialist education.
No two days are the same but every day gives you the chance to make a lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons for individual students and small groups, following the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Monitor, assess and record student progress, contributing to school development priorities and improvement planning.
- Develop, implement and review individual education and behaviour plans in collaboration with colleagues.
- Create a safe, stimulating and well-organised classroom environment, ensuring appropriate use and maintenance of resources.
- Support students with challenging behaviour, promoting the development of self-regulation and positive learning habits.
- Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, care staff and multi-disciplinary colleagues to ensure consistent, holistic support.
- Maintain effective communication with staff and home, ensuring continuity between school and home environments.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and meet all professional standards and regulatory expectations.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
