A secondary school in Amersham is seeking a Psychology/Criminology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, Amersham to join their supportive and dedicated team. In this role, you will support and inspire children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other additional learning needs.
This Psychology/Criminology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant position will provide practical experience working with cases commonly seen in Educational Psychology, while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Job Role - Psychology/Criminology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, Amersham, Buckinghamshire
- Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of pupils to enhance learning, engagement and confidence
- Applying psychology knowledge to support students with ASD, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, SEN and other additional needs
- Supporting students in developing a positive attitude towards learning and the school environment
- Helping to create a safe, supportive and comfortable environment for all pupils
- Assisting with planning and delivering targeted interventions to improve understanding and progress
