SEN Teaching Assistant

What you'll do:

  • Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 personalised learning in homes or community settings.
  • Plan creative sessions tailored to each learner's strengths, interests and goals.
  • Support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Encourage confidence, resilience and positive engagement with learning.

What you need:

  • At least one year's experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs or other additional needs.
  • Experience planning and delivering learning sessions, particularly around core subjects.
  • Confidence using positive behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies
  • Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.
  • Availability for at least two consistent weekdays.
