SEN Teaching Assistant - Oldham (Multiple Vacancies)
Location: Oldham

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm / Flexible within Trust
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

The Education Specialists (TES) are excited to be working in partnership with a large SEN Multi-Academy Trust in Oldham, and we are now recruiting a high volume of SEN Teaching Assistants to support across their schools.
As a trusted staffing partner, all agency support for this Trust is now managed through TES, giving you priority access to roles across multiple sites.
About The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH
- Physical disabilities / complex needs
- Behavioural challenges

Roles May Include
- 1:1 support
- Small group interventions
- Classroom-based support alongside the teacher
You Can Choose To
- Work long-term in one school, or
- Gain experience across multiple schools within the Trust
Key Responsibilities
- Support learning and engagement in the classroom
- Build strong relationships with pupils
- Assist with behaviour management strategies
- Support personal care where required
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school or care setting)
- Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Resilient, patient, and proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
