  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Sensory impairments (visual and hearing)
  • Non-verbal communication, including the use of PECS, Makaton, AAC, and sensory cues.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and care staff to help pupils engage with learning through sensory exploration, routine, and personalised support, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and understood.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children or adults with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs (education, care, health, or support work)
  • A calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach
  • Confidence with personal care and supporting physical needs
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

SEN qualifications or previous school-based experience are desirable but not essential
