The Governors of St Giles’ C.E Primary School are looking to recruit an ambitious, dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our school provision in the KS2 Department.

Role Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the classroom teacher.
- Support a specific child on a 1:1 or small group basis to enhance pupil’s academic progression.
- Serve as a lunchtime supervisor for 30 minutes each day in addition to class teaching hours.

Working Hours:
- 8:55am – 3:15pm (which includes unpaid breaks of 20 minutes in the morning and ½ hour lunch.)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils.
- Dedication and enthusiasm, together with high expectations for every child to achieve their full potential.
- Experience of delivering interventions and willingness to undertake a first aid qualification.
- A sound understanding of how to promote positive learning behaviours.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build good relationships.
