Whitnash Nursery School

The Role

Whitnash Nursery School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Part-time/Temporary Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs at our school. The role is for 17.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9.00am – 12.30pm.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have the experience of working within an educational setting and can demonstrate:

  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for supporting children and in making a positive difference
  • The ability to support pupils to reach their full potential
  • Creativity and versatility, engaging the child in their learning by using identified strategies which support their individual needs
  • Responding to the needs of the child, recognising where potential barriers to learning may arise and seeking to overcome them
  • Working as part of a team
