SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
We are seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2):
- To provide support for the teacher by preparing an effective learning environment
- Establishing good relations with the pupil
- Giving appropriate comfort and care as directed
- Linking this support through our Teaching and Learning and Relationships Policy expectations
- To assist the pupil to reach their full potential by maintaining a safe working environment
Where the successful candidate may work within a whole class, with small groups of children, or on a 1:1 basis.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate would have the ability to motivate and encourage children; be enthusiastic, responsible, and would enjoy working with children. They should have good interpersonal skills and a desire to support children with their learning; promote high standards of behavior and believe that all children can succeed. The post holder must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent. We would love to hear from you if you:
