SEN Teaching Assistant - Fetcham, Surrey
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Leatherhead, where you'll play a key role in helping pupils succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Role Details
- Location: Fetcham, Surrey
- Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (term-time only)
- Pay: £90-£95 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Contract: Long-term, temporary and temp-to-perm opportunities
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions.
- Encouraging participation and building pupils' confidence in the classroom.
- Assisting the teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging learning activities.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support each child's development.
