SEN Teaching Assistant (Year 1/2): Lichfield

Are you a passionate individual looking to make a meaningful impact on young lives? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialized school environment in Lichfield. Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated classroom support for Year 1 and Year 2 students with special educational needs.
  • Utilize effective behavior management strategies to create a calm and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Apply de-escalation techniques to support students in managing their emotions and navigating challenging moments.
  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans that meet the individual requirements of each pupil.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to track student progress and contribute to a supportive school culture.
  • Foster a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment where every child feels valued.

Qualifications
