SEN / SEND Tutors Needed – Help Young Learners Rebuild Confidence and Thrive
Pay: £18.00 - £25.00 per hour
Location: Essex County - Tendring (Frinton-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Brightlingsea, Manningtree)
Hours: Flexible shifts, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Learning Hive is teaming up with Essex County Council to make a meaningful impact on the education of young students. We are actively hiring passionate and dedicated tutors to provide high-quality tuition in core subjects for primary and secondary students (KS1-KS4). We are particularly looking for educators with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support to help create inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
At Learning Hive, we are committed to delivering exceptional educational support to young people, ensuring they receive the tailored guidance they need to succeed. We take a collaborative approach, maintaining a strong support network around each student. As a tutor, you will benefit from ongoing support from our team of SEND Support Specialists throughout every placement.

Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of two years of tutoring or teaching experience
- Experience working with SEND students
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science (KS1-KS4)
- Confident, self-motivated, and inspiring educators
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through our fast-track service)
