About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable tutor to join our team, working one-to-one with young people who need extra support to reach their potential. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by helping students rediscover their confidence, reignite their curiosity, and achieve academic success.
You will be working with students who may have special educational needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Through creative and engaging tuition, you’ll inspire them to find joy in learning and give them the tools they need to progress academically and personally.
The role will start with 6–10 hours of tuition per week, with the potential to grow to 15 hours as the programme develops. Additional hours may be available depending on the needs of the students and your availability.
This is more than a tutoring position—it’s a chance to empower young people and help them build a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons, tailored to each student’s individual learning requirements.
- Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students overcome barriers to learning and transition back into full-time education.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing regular updates to Quick Thinkers Tuition and relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with Quick Thinkers Tuition to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements
- A valid Enhanced DBS check.
- Two professional references.
- Strong GCSE and A-Level grades in core subjects.
- A 2:1 undergraduate degree (preferred but not essential).
- A valid UK driving licence.
Position: In-Person Tutor
Hours: Starting with 6–10 hours per week, increasing to 15 hours per week and potentially more as required
Location: High Wycombe / Amersham
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £25.23-£33.12 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
