An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SENCo to join a mainstream primary setting in East London on an interim basis, with a long-term view to permanent.
The Role
You will take a leading role across SEND provision, with responsibilities including:
- Leading and managing SEND provision across the school
- Managing EHCP applications, annual reviews and related processes
- Working confidently with Local Authorities and external professionals
- Supporting and developing staff around SEND
- Contributing to and delivering the school's SEND strategy
- Providing guidance and support to ECTs, 1:1 staff and wider teams
- Helping ensure SEND systems, processes and paperwork are organised and effective

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced SENCO with strong knowledge of SEND and EHCP processes
- NASENCo qualified - desirable
- QTS required
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- A strong communicator with the ability to engage and develop staff
- Confident using technology and SEND systems
- Primary, early years or SEMH experience would be advantageous
