About The Role
You'll work Monday to Friday during school hours, delivering personalised learning to young people with additional needs.
The setting provides a supportive environment where teachers have dedicated time during the school day for planning, preparation, training and professional development - helping create a much more sustainable working week.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Delivering engaging and personalised lessons across Maths, English and Functional Skills
- Adapting teaching to meet individual SEND needs and abilities
- Supporting pupils with SEND, autism, learning difficulties and additional needs
- Building positive relationships and creating a calm, supportive learning environment
- Planning and preparing lessons around individual learning goals
- Monitoring progress and contributing to individual learning plans
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider specialist team
- Supporting pupils to develop confidence, independence and preparation-for-adulthood skills
