SEND Health & Care Support Assistant - Immediate Start
Location: Saltash, Cornwall
Pay: £90 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Start: Immediate / ASAP
Care. Communication. Confidence. Independence.
Success at school looks different for every child.
For one pupil, it might be completing a piece of work independently.
For another, communicating a choice, managing a transition successfully or developing the confidence to participate in an activity alongside their peers.
We're recruiting a SEND Health & Care Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Saltash with an immediate start available.
This is a varied role supporting children and young people whose additional educational needs may be accompanied by physical, communication, health or personal-care requirements.
Your role isn't to do everything for a young person. It's to provide the right level of support so they can do as much as possible for themselves.
Supporting The Whole Young Person
You'll work closely with education and specialist professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout their day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
