Fixed Term 1 Year Contract

Salary Range: Band A, £25,614 (pro-rata)

Actual salary: £3617.82

Location: Windy Arbor Primary School, Chelmsley Wood, Solihull

We are seeking a responsible, caring and enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to support pupils with additional needs during the lunchtime period. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and committed to inclusion, wellbeing and positive relationships. As a SEND lunchtime supervisor, you will play a key role ensuring the wellbeing, safety and happiness of our SEND children during lunchbreaks. As a SEND Lunchtime supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing children in the dining hall and other areas of the school, during lunchtime.

The hours of work will be 6.25 hours per week term time. Normal hours of duty correspond with the school’s lunchtime break i.e. 11:45 am - 1:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing children in the dining hall and other areas of the school, during lunchtime.
  • Ensuring the wellbeing, safety and happiness of our SEND children during lunchbreaks.
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs during the lunchtime period.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working with children.
  • Have a caring, friendly attitude.
  • Have good communication skills to interact with the children in a positive manner.
  • Experience of working with children who have autism would be an advantage.
