Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Hours & Shifts

There are up to 20 hours per week available, with flexibility around shifts.

There will also be opportunities to work additional shifts during school holidays, making this a great role for somebody looking for flexible SEND work alongside other commitments.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children or young people with complex SEND, PMLD or medical needs.
  • Be calm, patient, nurturing and dependable.
  • Be confident providing 1:1 support.
  • Understand the importance of consistency, safeguarding and infection control.
  • Be comfortable supporting personal care where required.
  • Be able to follow medical, care and professional guidance accurately.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with the family and wider team.
  • Take the young person’s health and safety extremely seriously.

Experience within SEND, complex care, PMLD, healthcare, residential care or specialist education would be particularly beneficial.

Relevant training and an enhanced DBS will be required.

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who wants to build a consistent relationship with one young person and provide meaningful, individualised support around her needs.
