Are you a passionate SEND Primary Teacher looking for an outstanding school?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are recruiting a SEND Primary Teacher to join a welcoming special needs primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

Role: SEND Primary Teacher - Trafford

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for a permanent position)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Pay: £160-230 per day DOE - paid PAYE direct via Cover People.

The Role

  • Teach a KS2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
  • Create a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider SEND team.
  • Monitor progress and support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching primary-aged pupils, ideally within SEND or specialist settings.
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to Work in the UK and two professional references.
