SEND Teaching Assistants Required
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available - Alvechurch
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND? We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive middle school seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join their team on both full-time and part-time basis.

The Role
You will be supporting pupils across Years 5 to 8, working closely with teaching staff to help students access learning and achieve their full potential. The roles will involve supporting students with a range of additional needs, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions.
Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Supporting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Adapting resources and learning activities to meet individual needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals where required

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience in a school, alternative provision, youth work, or support setting
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to support pupils with a range of needs and abilities
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference to young people's lives
