Job Title
32.5 hours per week (term time only plus 5 days training days) fixed term until 09/07/2027
Grade 3, points 5-6 = £20,034-£20,352 Pro Rota (£26,427-£26,847 Full Time Equivalent)
Start date – as soon as possible

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Woodstock Primary Academy team. Working under the direct supervision of teachers, you will support teaching and learning activities across the school, helping children to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to supporting children academically, socially and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers, pupils, parents and external professionals to deliver high-quality support that promotes independence, confidence and success for all learners.

- Has experience working with children or in a school environment
- Is caring, patient and committed to helping children achieve their best
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Understands safeguarding, health and safety, and the importance of inclusion
- Is adaptable, proactive and willing to undertake training and development
- Shares the values and ethos of the Trust and Academy

Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning for individuals, groups and whole classes
- Assist teachers with planning, preparation and assessment activities
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Promote pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Support children with SEND, EAL and additional learning needs
- Prepare resources and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and Academy procedures
- Attend meetings and training to support professional development
