Working hours: Full-time Monday – Friday (term time only)
Unique School Solutions is supporting a large primary school in the S13 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and talented SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

The Role
- Supporting SEND students to access curriculum content within a classroom environment
- Working on a 1:1 basis with students with SEND needs including Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and SEMH needs
- Supporting with the design and delivery of educational resources
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Encouraging student confidence, independence, and participation
- Working as part of the SEND team
- Following school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times

Essential Requirements For The Role
- Previous/recent experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a school environment
- Experience working with students with a range of SEND needs
- The ability to work with small groups of students supporting learning
- The ability to work with students on a 1:1 basis supporting learning
