Are you a compassionate and energetic individual who's passionate about making a difference in the lives of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) students? If so, our client, a renowned primary school in the heart of Monkseaton, has an excellent opportunity for you!
As a Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with our dedicated teachers to provide tailored support and guidance to our SEND students. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with lesson planning
- Delivering one-on-one and small group interventions
- Fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEND students
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the unique needs of SEND learners
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective intervention strategies

- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Qualifications And Skills
- Previous experience working with SEND students in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (desirable)
