About the Role

Some of the most powerful teaching happens when it's just you and one learner.

Is this the role you are looking for? If so, read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.

Imagine having the freedom to teach without the pressures of a busy classroom. The time to truly understand each learner. The flexibility to adapt every lesson. The opportunity to watch confidence grow one breakthrough at a time.

At BrightTeach, that's exactly what SEND tutoring is all about.

We're looking for passionate educators to provide personalised, one-to-one tuition for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is far more than delivering lessons; it's about rebuilding confidence, reigniting a love of learning and helping young people achieve goals they never thought possible.

If you're searching for meaningful work that fits around your life while making a genuine difference to someone else's, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one tuition, primarily face-to-face across East Sussex
  • Plan creative, student-centred lessons tailored to individual learning styles and needs
  • Set SMART learning targets and celebrate progress every step of the way
  • Develop strategies that support both academic achievement and emotional wellbeing
  • Create a safe, positive learning environment where students can thrive
  • Complete session records, progress updates and safeguarding documentation
  • Carry out risk assessments where appropriate to ensure safe learning environments
  • Attend CPD opportunities and contribute to multi-agency meetings when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
