SEND Tutor – Wokingham (Alternative Provision & EOTAS)

Quantum Scholars is currently seeking experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition and support for young learners across Wokingham who are accessing Alternative Provision and EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than at School).

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of pupils who are unable to access mainstream education and require a personalised and flexible approach to learning.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 tuition and support to young learners with a range of additional needs, including SEND and SEMH.
  • Deliver personalised learning programmes tailored to each pupil’s individual needs and abilities.
  • Tuition will take place in a variety of settings, including pupils’ homes, community venues, and educational settings.
  • Opportunities are available throughout the academic year, with flexible hours depending on pupil referrals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
  • Experience delivering one-to-one tuition, teaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full Right to Work in the UK.
