About the Role
Working 3 days per week, the SENDCo will lead, manage, and evaluate provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the primary school. Working in partnership with the full-time Assistant SENDCo, the SENDCo will drive the school’s strategic vision for inclusion, deliver high-impact staff CPD, oversee the direction of the SEND Hub Base, and ensure robust quality assurance across all adaptive teaching practices, individual learning plans, and statutory Section F provisions.
Our SENDCO will also be part of a network of supportive and active working relationships with other SENDCOs across our locality, providing opportunities to share expertise, collaborate and develop practice. The school is well resourced, including two dedicated sensory rooms, and we are committed to ensuring that children with SEND are supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
