We're Hiring! Senior 2D Animator / Producer
Remote (UK) | £35–45k Pro Rata DOE
We're looking for someone who loves making brilliant animation and enjoys taking the lead on bringing projects to life.
At Rival Animation, no two weeks are the same. One day you could be producing a fintech explainer, the next creating content for a theme park, and the next helping develop one of our own original IP projects.
From the first client conversation through to the final render, you'll help shape projects, manage production, keep clients happy and create animation we're all proud of. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute towards Rival's original IP and help shape the future of the studio.
We're hoping to find someone who'll become a long-term member of the Rival team. We start with a 6-month contract to make sure it's the right fit for both sides.

You'll be:
- 🎬 Storyboarding and creating high-quality 2D animation
- 📅 Managing multiple projects and production schedules
- 🎤 Coordinating voiceovers, music and specialist freelancers
- 🤝 Working directly with clients and presenting creative ideas
- ✨ Keeping quality high across every stage of production
- 💡 Helping develop Rival's original IP
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- ✔ Have commercial experience delivering animated videos for clients (either in a studio or as a freelancer)
- ✔ Have a brilliant eye for detail and great design instincts
- ✔ Are organised, proactive and happy juggling multiple projects
- ✔ Want to be an important part of a small team where your ideas genuinely matter
Bonus points if you've been experimenting with AI production workflows, have experience in 3D or Unreal Engine.
