Join Watts Farms and help keep our customers’ deliveries moving safely, efficiently and on time!

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Senior 7.5T Driver to support the day-to-day running of our Transport department. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will combine hands-on driving with responsibility for supporting drivers, coordinating routes and maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

Working hours will be Tuesday to Saturday, 3am start time but a degree of flexibility will be required.

You will be working on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to be on the road while also making a real contribution to the performance of the wider transport operation. You will work closely with colleagues across the business and play an important part in delivering a reliable service to our customers.

What will you be doing:

  • Complete delivery routes, collections and cover as required.
  • Support the daily deployment of drivers, including responding to sickness and changing routes where necessary.
  • Check driver paperwork, defect sheets, timesheets, delivery notes, invoices and fuel receipts, ensuring records are complete and any required action is followed up.
  • Monitor drivers’ hours, tachograph information and Working Time Directive compliance.
  • Coordinate vehicle checks and repairs, obtaining quotes for approval by the Transport Manager.
  • Work with Customer Services, drivers and customers to resolve delivery issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer delivery information and brief drivers on new drops and route requirements.
  • Support driver communication, scheduling, incident reporting, recruitment, probation and review processes.
  • Promote safe working practices and compliance with company operating procedures, the Drivers Handbook and PPE requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
