At St Monica Trust, we create places where older people can truly flourish: warm, vibrant communities built with care, expertise and heart. As we continue to invest in the development of our people and the future workforce of adult social care, we are expanding our Academy to provide high-quality learning, development and career opportunities across the organisation.

We're looking for a Senior Academy Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and success of the Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys bringing people, projects and learning opportunities together to make a real difference.

The Role

In this role you will support the creation, coordination and ongoing development of the Academy, ensuring learning and development activity is effectively planned, delivered and monitored.

You will act as a central point of coordination for Academy programmes, external training opportunities, workforce development initiatives and funding activities, helping colleagues access development opportunities that support both personal growth and organisational priorities.

A key aspect of the role will be supporting the rollout of the Care Workforce Pathway programme, helping to promote clear career progression routes, consistent development opportunities and alignment with national workforce expectations for adult social care.

You will:

Academy Coordination & Project Support

  • Support the Academy Manager with planning, organising and monitoring Academy workstreams and projects
  • Coordinate multiple priorities, ensuring key milestones, actions and deadlines are achieved
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of Academy systems, processes and programmes
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefings and documentation to support governance and decision-making

Learning & Development Coordination

  • Coordinate external training and development activity across the Trust
  • Liaise with training providers to source course information and arrange bookings
  • Monitor attendance, learner engagement and completion data
  • Maintain accurate learning records and training information systems

Funding & Workforce Development

  • Support the administration and tracking of Learning and Development Support Scheme funding claims
  • Ensure evidence, documentation and claim records are maintained in line with funding requirements
  • Monitor deadlines and compliance requirements to maximise funding opportunities
  • Support workforce development initiatives that enhance learning and career progression opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
