Accounts Senior Associate

ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified role managing a broad portfolio: partnerships, trusts, sole traders and companies across landed estates, agriculture, manufacturing, property development/rental, and consultancy. Good next step for someone wanting to build advisory, client management, and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end financial statements
  • Own ad-hoc advisory projects
  • Review junior team members' work
  • Support managers on a large portfolio of accounts/bookkeeping clients
  • Handle client VAT/bookkeeping queries, incl. system setup support
  • Train and support junior staff
  • Work planning, timetabling, billing
  • Build and maintain client relationships

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified, some practice experience
  • Strong Excel/Word
  • Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage (CCH AP a plus)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, good communicator
  • Comfortable juggling multiple jobs under pressure
