Senior Account Director – Experiential & Live Events

Central London | £60,000–£65,000 | Hybrid 3/2

Account Director working in experiential and feel ready to step up? Here's your chance...

We're working with a well regarded independent marketing agency that has built an enviable reputation within the entertainment, media and broadcasting world, delivering live experiences and activations for some of the biggest names in the industry. They're looking for someone to join their senior team and play a major role in the future of their live experience division.

This isn't simply another client services position... You'll take ownership of major client relationships, lead and develop a talented live team, oversee exciting, international activations and help shape the future of the agency. Most importantly, there's genuine progression attached to the role. They're looking for someone capable of joining as a Senior Account Director now, with the potential to step up and lead the team as it continues to grow.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning senior relationships with major entertainment and media clients.
  • Leading experiential campaigns from brief and concept through to live delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new projects
  • Leading pitches, proposals and responses to briefs
  • Managing and developing a small, experienced live events team
  • Overseeing budgets, project profitability and resourcing
  • Working closely with creative, strategy, production and account teams
  • Building relationships with freelance talent, production partners and suppliers
  • Helping shape the direction and growth of the agency's experiential offering

What we're looking for:

You'll need prior agency experience to Account Director level, ideally in an events or experiential specialist. You'll be commercially switched-on and already have some experience of managing direct reports. You'll understand production and delivery, but you don't need to be a pure producer this role is really about clients, leadership, commercial thinking and making great live work happen. Experience within entertainment, media, film, TV or streaming would be particularly interesting, although we're equally open to strong experiential candidates from other consumer sectors. A good network of production suppliers and freelance talent would also be helpful.
