More about the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Director with strong knowledge of the B2B technology space to join our Technology practice on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will take on a strategic lead and trusted consultative role across a flagship portfolio of global enterprise accounts including Qualcomm, Cellnex, Wipro, Adobe, and Park Place Technologies. You will drive high-impact B2B communication strategies, manage revenue and account profitability, and lead daily team execution under the guidance of senior practice leadership.

This role offers the opportunity to develop under the guidance of some of the best in the industry and gain first-hand experience working on high-profile international brands. The experience of the team enables us to deliver integrated communications, from corporate, B2B and consumer communications, to digital & social, influencers, analyst relations, content marketing and public affairs. We understand technology ecosystems, consumer and business audiences, and the power of the influencer.

Having a passion for enterprise tech, telecommunications, and digital infrastructure is essential for this role as you will be leading accounts for some of the world’s most influential B2B technology leaders. Whether navigating telecoms infrastructure, wireless innovation, data center services, or global IT consulting, as we progress into a new era defined by advancements in AI, cloud, and connectivity, it’s crucial we continue to turn complex B2B technology stories into compelling, human-first narratives.

What you'll do:

  • Acting as a trusted senior advisor to clients, directing strategy with vision, adding value, and helping clients achieve business objectives
  • Owning senior client relationships, understanding their industry, business goals, challenges, and competitive landscape
  • Overseeing campaign delivery, from executive positioning and thought leadership to high-level business and trade media relations
  • Driving organic account growth, contributing to proposal development, and participating in new business pitches
  • Leading, motivating, and mentoring team members, supporting career development, and managing team resourcing
  • Managing account P&L, fee recommendations, budget monitoring, revenue forecasting, over-servicing levels, and staff allocation
  • Partnering with intelligence analysts and strategists to ensure data, analytics, and AI tools are embedded into client strategies

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Account Director level within a B2B technology PR agency
  • Deep experience in the B2B tech, telecoms, enterprise software, or digital infrastructure sectors
  • Strong commercial skills, including budget oversight, revenue forecasting, and team resourcing
  • Excellent client management skills with a track record as a trusted advisor to senior executive stakeholders
  • Leadership skills with a passion for mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture
  • A senior storyteller and media strategist who knows how to craft compelling business narratives for business, trade, and national media
  • Ability to step into a high-profile account portfolio on a 12-month maternity cover and deliver immediate strategic impact
